Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Jade Pavilion (the “Service”), operated by Nassim Jmal (“we”, “us”). By using the Service you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Jade Pavilion lets you read webnovels for free, supported by advertising. Stories are published with the permission of their authors or rights holders. Some features — a personal library, synced reading progress, reviews and comments — require a free account.

2. Accounts

• You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to create an account.
• Keep your password confidential. You are responsible for activity on your account.
• One person, one account. Automated sign-ups, account selling and impersonation are not allowed.
• You can delete your account at any time from your account settings.

3. Content you post

You keep ownership of your reviews and comments. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display and distribute them on the Service. Your posts must follow our Content Guidelines. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these terms.

4. Stories and intellectual property

Novels on the Service belong to their authors and rights holders. You may read them for personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, scrape, republish, translate or redistribute them without permission. Automated harvesting of chapters is prohibited.

If you believe something on the Service infringes your rights, follow our copyright procedure.

5. Advertising

The Service is free because it shows advertisements. Do not click ads you are not interested in, use bots or scripts to interact with ads, or encourage others to do so. We may restrict access when we detect invalid traffic.

6. Acceptable use

• No attempts to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the Service.
• No spam, harassment, hate speech or illegal content.
• No circumventing rate limits, bans or technical restrictions.

7. Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced on the Service. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
