Author & Translator Terms

Last updated: 17 October 2026

These terms apply when you submit a novel or translation for publication on Jade Pavilion. They are a summary of the publishing relationship; for partnerships we sign an individual agreement that takes precedence.

1. You keep your copyright

Submitting a work does not transfer copyright. You grant Nassim Jmal a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, format, display and promote the work on the Service and its social channels, with advertising, for as long as the work is published.

2. Your promises

  • The work is your original creation, or you hold a written licence that permits this publication (for translations: from the original author or publisher).
  • The work does not infringe anyone's rights and complies with our Content Guidelines.
  • You will tell us immediately if your rights change (for example, an exclusive deal elsewhere).

3. Verification

Before publication we record the basis of the rights (original work, licence, partnership or public domain), the scope, any end date and the evidence you provide. A novel cannot go live until that record is verified, and it is automatically taken down when a licence expires.

4. Removal

You can ask us to unpublish your work at any time by emailing contact@jadepavilionnovels.com. We remove it within 7 days. We may remove works that break these terms or receive a valid copyright notice.

5. Revenue

Reading on the Service is free and funded by advertising. Unless you have a separate partnership agreement that says otherwise, these terms do not include revenue sharing. We will never promise particular earnings.
